Today, the Mrs. New Jersey United States Organization was represented at the 1st Annual Marlboro Township Memorial Day Parade and ceremony. I was so moved when the American flag was raised and the wreath laid. Both of my brothers, Jay and Johnny, served in the military. Jay actual fought in Vietnam and came home a very different person. Johnny served in the Army. Remembering that my brothers served our country so we can be free moved me beyond my expectations!
We were also extremely fortunate to meet Congressman Rush Holt and Senator Jennifer Beck. Both of which represent my district.
Thanks to Ceylone Booth-Grooms, Mrs. Monmouth County, for arranging this appearance for us. We had a great time...it didn't rain :)

Congratulations! I wanted to post a comment on the 2010 award but didn't see the Post Comment space. Anyway, you've worked hard, have kept yourself in great shape, have a good heart, a beautiful family, and deserve all that's good in life. I especially like all the work you're doing with kids/raising their educational/awareness level. They are our future.
